INDIANAPOLIS- The Indianapolis Office of Sustainability has extended the deadline for applications for the 2014 Indianapolis Sustainability Awards. The new application deadline is Friday, February 28, 2014.The Indianapolis Sustainability Awards recognize individuals, businesses and organizations making strides to transform Indianapolis in to one of the country's most sustainable cities. The awards recognize projects that are enhancing the environmental health, economic vitality and social well-being of Indianapolis.
The awards will be presented during the annual Indianapolis Sustainability Awards Dinner on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 in Downtown Indianapolis.
Examples of winning from previous years included Buckingham Companies for The Residences at CityWay/The Alexander Hotel, Big Car for their Service Center for Culture and Community, Indy Tilth for their rain garden at Double 8 Foods, Monarch Beverage for their CNG Fleet Conversion and Quemetco for their Wet Electrostatic Precipitator.The application can be downloaded online, click here.
