SB 313 on net metering is on the Second Reading Calendar for the Indiana Senate on Thursday, January 28th.  The Indiana Senate is scheduled to convene at 1:30 pm. If you can't be at the State House to watch the action, you can watch or least listen from your computer. Watch video from the Senate

Proposed amendments must be filed at least two hours before the Senate goes into session and should be available on-line by late morning or early afternoon.

Check here to see amendments. http://www.in.gov/apps/lsa/session/billwatch/billinfo?year=2010&request=getBill&docno=313

Now all you will need is some popocorn and a soft drink before the entertainment begins. Oh yeah, you need a program. Get your program here. http://www.in.gov/legislative/reports/2010/BCALS.PDF

Ok, so you have some real work to do during the day tomorrow. These folks don't necessarily stop at 5 pm. Tuesday evening the Senate didn't adjourn until about 6:30 pm. So just log-in and check it out.

And don't foget that the House version of net Metering, HB 1094 is on the second reading calendar Thursday, January 28th when the Indiana House reconvenes at 9:30 am.

The House Calendar is here http://www.in.gov/legislative/reports/2010/BCALH.PDF

We get one final whirlwind weekend with state lawmakers in their home districts before next week where February 3 is the deadline for third reading or final passage in the first House.

Check here to see if there is a Town Hall or Third House meeting to get a status report from your state legislators and to discuss pending legislation as well as ask questions. Check the next post for details.
